This photo was taken for the portrait assignment. What I like about this photo is its dark lighting and straight face creates a serious tone. My point of view was straight on to Guys face. The photo follows the rule of thirds because he is slightly positioned off to the right opposed to being in the middle. The depth of field is around f5.6. The ISO was set to 800 and the lights were positioned to the left of the model.

This is an image of the Big Red Slide at Peirce's beach. I chose this picture because I feel like it is eye catching and pleasing to look at. The colorful trees, some illuminated by the light, creates texture in the image. There is repetition in the slide, both in the direction it moves and in the many lines of bolts. My point of view from this photo is angled up, as you have to tilt up to look at the whole slide. The lighting in this photo only hits some of the slide and some of the trees towards the top. It adds color and contrast between the shadowed trees and lightened trees. Contrast is also created between the green/brown trees and the bright red slide. The slide pops out in the photo.

This photo was taken for the painting with light assignment. What I like about this photo is the vibrant neon colors of the light. It creates a happy and warm feel/atmosphere. My point of view was straight on to the lights. The photo follows the rule of thirds because the light is not right in the middle of the picture (it goes along the top of the image). The depth of field is f18. I took this photo at 1/15 of a second with an ISO and WB of 6400.
