fast shutter speed
The photo of Steven with the cards flying out of his hands is a good example of fast shutter speed. The photo was taken at 1/1600 shutter speed and my ISO and WB was at 6400. I froze Steven flicking the cards out of his hands. The cards are frozen, clear, and crisp in the photo. A ball was thrown at him while the picture was taken, which is why there is a floating ping pong ball in the background. I am about 10 feet away from him in the photo and I zoomed in a bit. I increased the contrast of the photo to make the white in the ball and cards pop out more. I also applied the rule of thirds and made Steven off to the left of the photo, not directly in the middle.
slow shutter speed
The image of Guy sitting on the ground with other people walking around him is a good example of a photo with slow shutter speed. I took this photo at 1/15 of a second with an ISO and WB of 6400. The people walking around Guy are blurred and show movement. I was about 20 feet away from Guy when I took this photo, but I was closer to the people walking towards me. I did not use the rule of thirds because Guy is in the middle of the photo, but the blurry people on the sides take the viewers focus away from the center.

Aperture
Select one of your images that show a shallow depth of field. My top left image of the mugs show a shallow depth of field. My camera was on f-stop 1.8 and I used a 1600 iso and the wb was automatic.
Discuss one of your images that show a large depth of field. My bottom right picture of the dice, phone, and cards has a large depth of field. The camera was on f-stop 16. My iso was set on 1600 and the wb was automatic.
I believe my photo of the dice, cards, and phone is the better photo because there is better lighting. I would have liked to use a shallow depth of field old this photo and just put the dice in focus. A large depth of field would be better if you want to take a picture where everything is in focus, like a picture at the beach or a picture of a bunch of trees in the woods.
